Welcome to Trinity

….from the Priest-in-Charge, The Rev. E. F. Michael Morgan Ph. D: At the beginning of the service each Sunday I state that Trinity Church is a place defined by its Mission: “welcoming all to worship and walk with God.” Then I urge the congregation to join me in our Welcoming Collect where together we pray. ‘Almighty God, dwelling among us, we ask that you will send to Trinity Episcopal Church all those who are joyful and glad, or may be hurting and in need. Help us to “welcome the stranger” as we look together for answers in our lives. Prepare us through worship this day to receive all people as Christ would. Give us a discerning spirit so that everyone who crosses our threshold feels embraced by your loving spirit; and then as we strive to build up the body of Christ, let us do so with hope and joy in our hearts. Amen.’

….from the Senior Warden, Zachery Thayer: We are an Episcopal church, and that ties us into a rich history.  We have a beautiful and reverent liturgy, an apostolic succession in our leadership that extends from the apostles to today, and both a duty and mission to spread the good news of Christ. I am excited for the future of Trinity Church.  There are a number of opportunities for us as a parish to do God’s work in new and exciting ways.
